Grime-step/death crunk/whatever is still a new enough genre/blog creation that there's still plenty of room for new artists to come into the fold without stepping on anyone's toes. New York act White Ring sounds like a malicious something that dragged itself out of an old crawlspace, with vocals that sound a bit like Leyla from HeartsRevolution, without all of the saccharine content.
