UK band
White Lies joins the ranks of bands such as Health, Liars, and Uffie after having their track fiddled with by old tour mate Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles. Here, Kath opts not for the trademark Crystal Castles chiptune-y sound, and instead goes for a kind of lawnmower-like synth to bring the airy
White Lies track down to earth. He also switches out the Killers-esque grandiosity of the original track for a kind of throbbing, immediate cynicism that's probably designed to make cynics throb immediately.
