In the past few months, we’ve heard more from Aubrey Graham for his guest appearances (French Montana “Pop That,” Rick Ross “Diced Pineapples,” Aaliyah “Enough Said‘), but today we have a new solo cut from Young Money’s tear-jerker. “Where Were You” is a duet between Drake and former Diddy Dirty Money-turned-solo songstress Dawn Richard, and sees the pair sing their sorrows over a soft-padded, synth-swamped soundbed. It’s unclear where this track will end up, but you can stream it ’til your heart’s content below.
UPDATE: It turns out that “Where Were You” was a track submitted by Colin Munroe for Drake’s 2010 album, Thank Me Later, and although it didn’t make the final cut, Drizzy laid down some vocals anyway. Stream Munroe’s official version here.
