As fellow Prefix writer noted in his review of When Saints Go Machine's Konkylie, highlight "Kelly" is one of several tracks that "lodge themselves into your brain and stay for a spell." I'm willing to bet that's why lo-fi knob-twiddler Shlohmo opted to remix "Kelly" and, more importantly, do such a fantastic job with it. The West Coast resident has pretty much made it into a track that wouldn't have sounded out of place on his recently released (and pretty great) Bad Vibes. It's a bouncy, woozy tune that flutters vocally and almost treads into Burial-esque territory. This proves that we need more remixes from Shlohmo. Stat.
