Weird Al Yankovic is back with his Alpocalypse album, which has already generated a hefty amount of discussion due to his back and forth permission battle with Lady Gaga over his version of “Poker Face.” Al performed on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night (June 20), and managed to take time to perform this version of the instrumental “Beer Barrel Polka” with the Roots as a web exclusive for the show. Clearly this is a continuation of his polka-themed obsession--his Gaga cover is named “Polka Face” after all. It’s a great chance to witness Al’s surprising proficiency on the accordion, and the Roots look like they’re having a blast playing along. Check it out below.
