this song sucks.
it's like they took every horrible, cliche part about music and threw it into one song.
>.<

I agree with n8, it's an awesome song.

Haha, amy. They actually expanded their horizons and proved further they have a grasp of complicated harmony etc. Its a great song, while a few parts are eh. I found it impressive.

harmonies dont make up for an intro that doesnt suit weezer. it sounds like nonsense. what kind of song changes genres every eight bars? its annoying like fall of troy

this song.. really sucks. i understand it's supposed to be a parody, but the lyrics are really cliche and just painful to listen to. it seems like they were trying to go for a bohemian rhapsody kind of feel, but just ended up with an epic failure that's choppy and plain annoying

guys, guys... are parodies ever cliche free? the point is that people make a career of being cliche. is rivers trying to tell us he's the "greatest man?" unlikely

It's a cool song. I'm sure the music majors out there can find plenty of ways to pick it apart (as you can with just about any track), but it's a good listen...

A song that changes between different styles/moods/etc. is called a Rhapsody...

I loved this song too! I don't know if anyone else would agree but it kinda reminded me of Green Day's style of how they made some of their songs on the "American Idiot" album. Like, how "Jesus of Suburbia" sounded like 5 different songs on 1 track. I don't know. That's my opinion!

But nonetheless, it's another GREAT song by WEEZER!
