David Letterman appeared to find some amusement in that Weezer album cover for Raditude as he introduced the band on his show last night (Oct. 29). The album is set for release on Tuesday (Nov. 3) and has been trailed by “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To.”

The title of the song suggests another slant in the direction of power pop, but in fact it has a Motown-y vibe, with blaring horns and a bass-driven groove. It doesn’t bode particularly well for the album, although Rivers Cuomo seems to be fully immersed in the song as he sinks to his knees and rocks out with Paul Shaffer.
