Wavves: Wavves Liberates Three More Songs From Zach Hill Sessions
Back in 2009, Wavves mastermind Nathan Williams linked up with the rhythmically insane drummer Zach Hill. Until today, only two tracks from their sessions together had seen the light of day: "Cool Jumper" and a live version of "Hula Hoop." Yesterday, on his Ghost Ramp blog, Williams posted streaming versions of "Goldy Lox," a studio version of "Hula Hoop," and "Glued." Each of the tracks represents a sort of sonic bridge between Wavves' more noisy earlier material, and the relatively polished King Of The Beach. They also find Hill delivering what may be his most restrained performances put to tape. Give all three tracks a listen below.
