Wavves: "Nodding Off" F. Best Coast
After revealing a new single just eight days ago in "I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl," the guys of Wavves have leaked another Life Sux track to the web. And it's one of the EP's two collaborative tracks. Whereas Fucked Up guests on "Destroy," Wavves frontman's girlfriend Bethany Cosentino, of Best Coast, shows up on "Nodding Off."
And, really, unless you really listen for her backing vocals, you probably wouldn't have noticed that she appears on here. Well, OK, it's kind of obvious that there's a female doing the "oOoOohs" and cooing throughout, but would we have known it was Cosentino otherwise? Maybe. But that's not totally the point here, is it? The point is that this track is loads of fun, even if it probably should have dropped in July because of the summery vibes.
