Wavves: "Mutant"
You have probably heard this song already if you have ordered the Japanese pressing of Wavves' King Of The Beach or illegally acquired it via the web. Otherwise, this track, King Of The Beach B-side "Mutant," is brand new to you thanks to the band's Twitter account. It's a pretty harsh little number from Nathan Williams and company that clocks in at just over two minutes and boasts a blend of wailing distorted guitars, crashing drums, and, at one point, whistling. Lyrically, Williams gets pretty angsty as he apparently feels so lonely he could die. Come on, buddy, just give Bethany a call and cheer up.
