Wavves: Gun In The Sun (MP3)

Wavves makes music that should be heard while you're drawing graffiti all over your old junior high school gym. Nathan Williams, the man behind the moniker, may have just entered his twenties, but he has a firm grip on the science of industrial power pop, and "Gun in the Sun," a selection from his upcoming second album, WAVVVES, is a raucous burst of stomp rock, recalling early Beach Boys records and the more jagged edges of Psychocandy.

WAVVVES is due out on March 17 on Fat Possum.
