Nathan Williams seems to have spent most of this year promoting the song “Bug,” which has been released a couple of times, both as a single and as part of the Life Sux EP. So when it came time for Wavves to play the FUEL TV show The Daily Habit there was really only one likely choice of song, and you can see the results of the performance in the clip below. This is the type of super-speedy punk tune that Williams can write in his sleep, complete with supremely bratty vocals and an efficient runtime that doesn’t even reach the three-minute mark. But this is where Wavves excel, in creating lean, buzzsaw pop that’s only missing a sea of crowd surfers to complete the picture.
