Earlier today, we heard yet another track from Wavves' forthcoming EP, Life Sux, in Fucked Up-collaboration "Destroy." But this afternoon, the West Coast band's frontman, Nathan Williams, decided to leak something we won't be hearing on the EP. He apparently got stoned while watching The Price Is Right, grabbed his guitar, and decided to record a cover of Sonic Youth's "100%," off 1992's Dirty. Given both bands' proclivity for noisy guitars, this was bound to happen at some point, right? It's pretty solid, too, and remains true to the original's hectic nature. Here's hoping Williams decides to record a full version.
You can download the cover here. Life Sux drops Sept. 20.
