West Coast hip-hop characters The Coup are plotting a comeback. Boots Riley and co. will release Sorry To Bother You—their first album since 2006’s Pick a Bigger Weapon—on Oct. 30 via Epitah, and to get us all riled up (I’m not sure if that was intended as a pun, but feel free chalk it up), debut “WAVIP.” This one finds Boots in a proverbial cypher with ATL veteran Killer Mike and Das Racist cool kids Kool A.D. and Heems, who share the mic over a neck-snapping, riff-churning rhythm.
