Washed Out: "Echoes"
Domino Records' experiment with independent radio paid great dividends yesterday, as it premiered "Echoes," the second track on Within and Without, the upcoming Sub Pop debut of Washed Out. The track is a dancy, affected slow burn that pays off near the end. It's not exactly the strongest Washed Out track, but it'll do till Within and Without comes out on July 12. You can stream the track at the 36-mark over here. Do yourself a favor and just listen to the whole show; it's hosted by Jack Shankly of Transparent and Weird World and it's a fun listen.
