Warren G: "This Is Dedicated To You" (Nate Dogg Tribute)
Last month, hip-hop lost one of its strongest and most recognizable voices when Nate Dogg died at the age of 41. And it's only fitting that his frequent collaborator and close friend Warren G has chosen to release a tribute song to the late singer on Easter. You see, Nate began his career singing as a boy in church. In particular, he honed his skills at the Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Miss., where his father served as a pastor. Nate also sang at a church in his hometown of Long Beach, Calif., where he would eventually befriend the likes of Warren G and Dr. Dre. The rest, as they say, is history.
