The "whoa dude girls look good" tracks normally hit around Mid-April to early May, so Wale is right on time with this video for "Pretty Girls" featuring, surprise, a bunch of pretty girls. The clip also does a better than normal job of filling in the awkward "oh Gucci Mane's in jail" space during his verse. They do it with, hey, more pretty girls, though it's not as funny as Big Boi's awkward lip-syncing during the "Shine Blockas" video. But jeez, this whole pretty girl thing seems to be working out really well. If only more rappers would catch on to this... [The Fader]
