"Letter," Wale's song about Barack Obama/himself that features a hook sung by the Ugh-factory named John Mayer, was left off Wale's upcoming debut, Attention Deficit, for an unknown reason. The Mayer part, which goes without saying, is mush-mouthed and awful, but Wale's verses are impassioned, and he manages to go a while without talking about his shoe collection and being all self-promotional (which is good and bad, really). It's a pretty strong track, but I imagine that was left off the album due to it's hokiness compared to "Pretty Girls" and "Chillin'."
Attention Deficit is due out on Nov. 10.
