Wale has been set to explode for nearly two years, but it seems like this year might finally bring him his commercial breakthrough. Given the fact that this new track, "Chillin" has a guest spot from pop songstress of the moment Lady Gaga, Wale's label is betting that he's about to break huge. The song features some synthy Cool & Dre production, and samples "Hey Hey Hey...Goodbye." Wale spends a bit too much time saying his own name (please, oh please, don't turn into Mike Jones), but his bars are a good counterpoint to the sub-Santigold intonations of Gaga.
Wale's debut album, Attention Deficit , is due out this year. [NahRight]
Well, that sorta sucks. I absolutely loved the mixtape about nothing..but this feels recycled. Not the rhymes, but the feel of the song. It didn't bring much to the table. Let's hope the rest of the album is solid.

This song is PURE FLAME. Would give it a 9.5 if M.I.A. had replaced GaGa. D.C. CHILLIN'!

JerrySeinfeld
He spits ill about Seinfeld: I'm, the best, even when I'm cynical. Angle these beats like a pentagon whenever my pen is on, ain't nothin' here minimal. Countin my bread, my account like a brunch at a synagogue. Get it ya'll? That's a whole lot of bagels. See me out the bay with San Quinn in a beige coup. A very bad man, you can ask Babu. I get Seinfeld with these rhyme skills I'm Larry David. Give me my paper. This'll cost mo like Jerry Sein-neighbor. My Costanzas stand like Phantoms and Maybachs, you won't get a lane if you came whack. I hate rap like Kramer hate blacks, still those no label that Wale ain't passed. And now I'm gonna lean on everybody's gas and Mark gave me a check and some dap.

This song is THE BOMB!!!!!! The video would be a 10 if Lady Gaga was dancing. I give the video a 9.
Haha, "sub-Santigold." That's pretty accurate.
