Wale: "By Any Means" f. Meek Mill, Pill & Rick Ross
Maybach Music Group's Self Made compilation drops in less than two weeks so it's only appropriate that the nearly endless promotional push continues here. The label has chosen posse cut "By Any Means" as the latest single. And it's just as overblown and looming as a majority of the previous leaks. Where it differs, though, is in producer Lil Lody's use of murky synthesizers rather than orchestral strings. The beat still stomps with the force of a gang of elephants, but "By Any Means" feels more like a Goliath lurking in the shadows than one stomping all over your face.
