Voxtrot: "Berlin, Without Return..." (Stream)

Is it weird to be excited about a new song from a band because it doesn't mean there's a new full-length album on the way? Voxtrot has posted this new track, "Berlin, Without Return...," on their MySpace page, and have already the song released as a limited-edition 7-inch. And since the song is awesome, swelling with synths and strings and Ramesh's fiery vocals, it's a welcome, if slight, return from the Austin band. But since their EPs always killed, and their one full-length felt a bit overdone, these kind of small, sweet doses are exactly the kind of thing we could use from Voxtrot.

"Berlin, Without Return..." 7-inch is limited to 400 copies and available at the Voxtrot online shop. But for those of you who prefer the ones and zeroes to the turntable, the single is also available in digital format. [Stereogum]
