Vampire Weekend: "California English" (Live in L.A.) (Video)
Over the weekend, Vampire Weekend played a pair of shows in L.A., where they trotted out new ditties from their upcoming sophomore album, Contra. A rough-sounding YouTube of "California English" is above, and it sounds just like stuff from their debut, which is anti-surprising.
Contra is due out on Jan. 12 via XL. [Pitchfork]
