Usher’s new album Raymond v Raymond is released today (March 30), and he gave a suitably smooth performance of “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” on David Letterman’s show last night to promote it. Naturally, this being an Usher performance, he is flanked by a group of female dancers who grope him at every opportunity.
The highlight comes around the 1:40 mark when the dancers entwine their arms all around Usher’s body and he looks somewhat pained. Perhaps the move wasn’t executed as he anticipated? No matter, because Letterman is suitably bemused by all the gyrating, and actually (for once) doesn’t seem to know what to say about it at the end.
Is this the beginning of Usher's comeback, as the New York Times is supposing?

I don't see it happening. I'm not hating either, as I like a lot of Usher's earlier stuff.
