“Two Months Off” was a single taken from Underworld’s A Hundred Days Off album from 2002, and was performed as part of a session for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic recently. You can venture over to this link to check out the entire session, but this video clip offers fans and tech-heads an up-close chance to geek out on the band’s working methods. “Two Months Off” is built around a typically sturdy and fastidious musical backbone over which Karl Hyde delivers some of his trademark oblique lyrics. It’s odd to see them in such cramped surroundings and without a crowd to feed off, but it just about works.
