U2: "No Line On The Horizon" (MP3)

We've already had U2's first single, "Get On Your Boots," from their upcoming new album, No Line On The Horizon, in various forms (including Grammy performance and official video versions), but we haven't gotten much of a taste of the rest of the album. Music Is The Heart Of Our Soul has gotten their hands on the album's title track (which you can hear, probably for a limited time, here), which, all told, is a whole lot better than the Escape Club-esque "Get On Your Boots." Bono's vocal gymnastics on the track, while sometimes shouty, are loose and jovial, and the simmering guitar work reaches a great payoff towards the end.

U2's No Line On The Horizon is due out on March 3 via Interscope, the same week the band take to Letterman's stage for an entire week of performances. [via Stereogum]
