Without question, this new Tyga track, "Kings & Queens," is the surprise of the day, if not the entire week. Backed by a jazzy, languid production by Arthur McArthur, the Young Money rapper completely changes his approach from what we heard on minimalist club track "Rack City." Not only that, but he has been joined by the likes of Wale and Nas, the latter of whom just keeps on killin' it. That's especially true here on "Kings & Queens," a mellow, introspective burner if there ever was one. Damn, well done, Tyga. You can stream the track at XXL. Tyga's Careless World: Rise of the Last King drops Feb. 21.
