As fans of San Francisco garage rock wunderkind Ty Segall anxiously await the release of Twins, the artist's third album of 2012, there's a little bit of new Segall-related tunage to alleviate one's waiting pains.
Joined by D. Watusi's Dillon Watson, Ty Segall recently recorded an on-point cover of Brian Eno's protopunk super jam, "Needle in the Camel's Eye" — a cut off Eno's 1974 debut solo LP, Here Come the Warm Jets. Part of a limited (and sold out) 7" celebrating the third anniversary of Tennesee label Nashville's Dead, the record also features a Segall collaboration with Useless Eaters heartthrob Seth Sutton.
Listen to the track below and be on the lookout for Ty Segall's Twins, coming out Oct. 9 on Drag City.
