“Twenty Miles To NH Part 2” (The Philistines Jr. Cover)

While the name the Philistines Jr. might not instantly grab you, you are more than likely familiar with the work of the band’s frontman, Peter Katis. He has served as a producer on albums by the likes of the National, Mercury Rev, and Frightened Rabbit. So with that in mind, it makes a whole hell of a lot more sense now that those three acts, along with several others, have come together to cover the Philistines Jr.’s 2010 LP, If a Lot of Bands Play in the Woods. Below you can check out the National’s take on “Twenty Miles to NH Part 2,” which they turn into quite possibly the most majestic song about cats of all time. [130 BPM]
