TV On the Radio’s third album Dear Science comes out one week today, and the band has released the first official video for a track from the record. “Golden Age” has already been previewed in audio form, but now the band has added a morph-tastic video to go with the song.
The track features a rare lead vocal from Kyp Malone, and the somewhat Biblical video features all five band members atop a mountain in white cloaks. Occasionally their heads morph into animals and a Village People-esque troupe of dancing policemen (and woman) strut their stuff to the Prince-like ditty. The band members slowly transform into Herculean musclemen as the clip progresses, and end up showering the police with hearts. What does it all mean? Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps the band members have just had some really positive recent experiences with the NYPD? Full TV on the Radio tour dates listed below.
