Because it came out late yesterday afternoon, this one sort of slipped through the cracks here at Prefix, but in case you've been in a post-Japan earthquake haze, here it is: TV on the Radio are offering a free download of "Caffeinated Consciousness," the first single from their upcoming Nine Types of Light. It's below for your pleasure, and it's a good one: It stomps and sways like a mid-90s slowburner, and shows off the sound we've grown accustomed to: Buzzy guitars, funky bass, and harmonies for days.
