Tussle: "Eye Context"

Bach had the cello, Michelangelo had his marble, and San Francisco's Tussle? It has the cowbell and handclaps. The stripped-down dance band will be releasing its first full-length album since 2008's Cream Cuts this fall. The new record, a seven-track LP called Tempest, is due out September 25 through Smalltown Supersound. Produced in Glasgow with club producer JD Twitch, the album promises to deliver more of the same hyper-focused grooves the band is known for. If the lead single “Eye Context” is any indication things will be a little fussier and more synth-heavy this time around, though it doesn't seem to have slowed the band's momentum at all.
