In this post-Jeremih world, all an R&B singer needs is a stuttered chorus and a decent set of abs, and they can dominate R&B radio. Trey Songz is the latest singer to jump into that realm via his "Say Aah," a mostly tuneless ode to boning a chick on her birthday. Just like "Birthday Sex," but with visions of Trey doing it on a club floor. This isn't exactly Shakespeare here. Part of me wishes R. Kelly didn't completely lose his mind, because when he was at his crazy peak (basically 1997-2005) he made the need for any other R&B singer like Jeremih or Trey Songz unnecessary.
Enough about Trey: Can we use this space to discuss George Lopez, and about how many people love him? It still seems impossible that there that many people in his studio audience. Do they get free food? Is that why they're showing up?
