Toro y Moi: "Still Sound"
Chaz Bundick revealed last month that his second album under the Toro y Moi moniker would boast a festival-friendly sound. It seemed like this meant that he would be doing some more guitar-heavy work on Underneath The Pine as the tracks he released after Causers of This sounded more rock-ish and less chillwave-y. And on his sophomore album's first leak, "Still Sound," it becomes clear that this stuff is a little more refined and easier to dance to as the lo-fi elements have been turned down. Sure, he's still got the dreamy vocals and effects going on, but the vibrant keys and bass play a much more prominent role here.
