Are there some unwritten laws of chillwave videos somewhere? Because I feel like I could direct these: Get a camera with a filter that makes everything look like 1987, goof of in some trees, dance earnestly and have a little performance footage. Here's Toro y Moi's "Still Sound," a video that fits all those criteria. Granted, this is a pretty great song, but is it so much to ask for a more complicated video. you don't have to get all Hype Williams up in here, but come on.

Is it to much to not say you dont have to get all MGMT, why mention "Hype williams" obviously they are independent & dont have much $$$ come on, its earnest and natural and genuinely nerdy, which is the feel of the song, it fits, I know its "cool" to write negative blogs but was that really necessary and where did the Hype reference come from? Its inappropriate.
