Before Chaz Bundick bringsToro y Moi across the U.S. and Canada this summer and fall, he will likely end up playing a few more of these types of gigs. You know, the ones where he does stripped-down or in-studio versions of tracks from his sophomore effort, Underneath the Pine, for various media outlets. Could this mean another Daytrotter session? Here's hoping, because this acoustic take of "Before I'm Down" is a soothing, albeit way too brief, of one of my favorite cuts off Toro y Moi's 2011 release. Although, to be fair, it would be tough to translate the album version's last minute or so of electronic dreaminess.
