Torche: "Exit Flagger" (Guided By Voices Cover)
Torche's movement away from noisy brutality into more catchy, albeit still pretty damn loud, territory continues with the announcement of a split EP with London's Part Chimp. For their three tracks on the release, Torche has provided covers of Guided By Voices' "Postal Blowfish", "Unleashed! the Largehearted Boy", and "Exit Flagger." Today, we're hearing the latter cover, which sounds pretty much exactly like the original. All you have to do is substitute Robert Pollard's vocals with those of Steve Brooks, add a bit more distortion, up the sound quality, and there you have it.
