Black Moth Super Rainbow leader Tobacco has a solo album out titled Maniac Meat, which contains contributions from Beck, and is being promoted by a set of decidedly NSFW videos. Anyone who has seen Black Moth play may recognize some of the flinched clips from this promo for “Super Gum.”
If you’ve always wanted to see E.T. in an uncompromising position or two, this is your chance, as the loveable alien turns porn star while Tobacco piles on some thickly layered electronic distortion as backing. In truth, it’s hard to concentrate on the music here, but thankfully the clip is mercifully brief and may just be short enough to keep everyone’s innocent childhood memories intact.
