U.K. rapper Tinie Tempah has already caught a sizable buzz here in the States with the release of his Wiz Khalifa-assisted "Till I'm Gone," a catchy joint that wouldn't have sounded out of place on Khalifa's Rolling Papers album. There's a good reason for that, though, as it was produced by Stargate, aka the guys behind "Black & Yellow." And perhaps in a move to win over even more U.S. fans, Tempah has reached out to Jim Jones and Pusha T for an official remix. This probably won't help push the track any higher on the Billboard 200, but it might extend its reach on the Rap Songs chart.
So far, "Till I'm Gone" has only hit number 22 on the Rap Songs chart, though it will be interesting to see the impact of this remix and if U.S. hip-hop heads are indeed swayed to Tempah's approach. If nothing else, the remix should net him some more spins on New York radio stations.
You can stream the remix below. The original version appears on Tempha's Disc-Overy, which is out now.
