Timbaland is releasing the sequel to his tepidly received solo album, Shock Value, next month, and singles from the album are leaking out at an almost daily rate. "Rumors," which features contributions from Keri Hilson and Jay-Z, is the latest, and it features Timbaland's trademark blaring synths and Indian-influenced drums. These kind of songs about how celebrities hate gossip always ring false, since Keri Hilson owes much of her career to a story about how she hates Beyonce. And Jay owes his to his battle with Nas, which took place in rap magazines as much as it did on wax. It probably doesn't matter though; this thing will be big in the clubs.
Shock Value 2 is due out on Nov. 23
