After generating considerable buzz through her work with female hip-hop ensemble June 5th, St. Louis-based rapper Tiffany Foxx broke into the solo career world today with the release of her debut mixtape. Titled Yellow Tape, the collection features appearances from artists such as LoLa Monroe and Shawty Lo — oh, and this rapper who goes by the name Lil Kim.
Yes, the original bad bitch herself is back — and impressively so, at that. Sure, "Jay-Z" is Tiffany Foxx's track, but Kim undeniably steals the show. Her voice lowered to a husky whisper, Kim namedrops luxury designers while releshing in the fact that her haters are stuck wearing "flea collars." It's not exactly Hova-related material, but this cut definitely proves that Lil Kim still has major chops.
