Prison doesn’t slow T.I. down. While locked up, he reportedly earned $8 million, and, upon his March 26, 2010, release date, he immediately began not only recording his seventh full-length, King Uncaged, but also released a mixtape titled, rather appropriately, Fuck A Mixtape. More a promotional trailer for T.I.’s forthcoming film, Takers (for which he also served as the executive producer), the video for “Yeah Ya Know” plays like an ad from Lifestyles of the Rich and Gun-Toting. While kicking off with T.I. in prison, it gives way to the cast (T.I., Hayden Christensen, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Zoe Saldana, and Idris Elba) cruising in Range Rovers, donning tuxedos and dazzling cocktail dresses, drinking three fingers of bourbon out of crystal glasses, and, naturally, heisting it up with ski masks and swammies.
