Ending a few weeks of speculation, M.I.A., who is nine months pregnant, showed up at the Grammys to join T.I., Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye for their super collaboration "Swagga Like Us," which samples M.I.A's ever-present "Paper Planes." For their part, the four MCs do something of a rapping rat pack, with all four in suits (and various states of undress), while M.I.A. rocks an interesting ladybug-esque dress. Nope, didn't find it a mess at all. All of them were totally intelligible (except for TI, whose verse is a little over-shouted, as you said) and M.I.A.'s outfit was rad. Imagine being that kid of hers ten years from now and getting to watch that video. This performance was hot.
The sound mixing on this was awful. And MIA's mic wasn't even on for the most part.

Give M.I.A. a break! Yeah..she messed up a couple time (21 seconds and towards the end that i noticed) but it was her fricken due date!!! Why don't one of you go jump around on stage and try to sing breath while being that pregnant! I know for a fact it's harder to breathe during late pergnancy. Sh*t..I give her credit for being out of the house! Did anyone notice at the end where T.I. almost hits her in the face with his jacket?! You should be more outraged by that!
