T.I.: "Rubberband Man" (Live on VH1 Storytellers)

Let's take a minute to put aside the fact that No Mercy is sounding pretty average and that T.I. can't keep himself out of trouble. Let's go back with him in the above video from his upcoming VH1 Storytellers performance to the year 2003, when his track "Rubberband Man" was damn near everywhere. Here, he delivers a version of his Trap Muzik hit with a live band, which maintains most of the tenacity of the original. He also provides some insight into the track, such as saying that he made "Rubberband Man" so he could stop explaining to everyone why he wore rubber bands on his wrists. It will be interesting to see how the full Storytellers show goes, especially which cuts T.I. chose to perform.

No Mercy is due out Dec. 7.

The more I think about, the more I feel like this is THE street anthem from the Dirty South. Like I can't think of a more gutter, hard-charging and downright awesome song than this. I mean, who can top this?
