The latest track to leak from T.I.'s forthcoming seventh album, No Mercy, boasts yet another big feature as Drake handles the second verse of "Poppin' Bottles." In another producer's hands, it's likely this cut would not have been nearly as repetitive as it is. But that's just what T-Minus does here. Yeah, we get it -- when these kind of beats work, they really work. Here, however, the rising and falling synthesizers, which I know are lifted from some other track that I just cannot place*, become annoying by a third listen. Also, even though the skit is still pretty hilarious to me, the "Fuck yo' couch, Rick James" portion of the hook is just lame.
No Mercy is due out Dec. 7. Stream the track below.

*Apparently T-Minus also gave Wiz Khalifa this beat for his "Real Estate" track. That's why it sounded so familiar.
this track drunk in a club will work really well though.
Yeah, it will. Should have mentioned that, hahaha
It's nice to hear T.I. sounding triumphant
Listening to some T.I. Mixtapes and he uses the third Verse in the Third verse of a Song called All Night....If you have heard this track before...its kind of annoying.
