When this track leaked a few months ago, I assumed we would be hearing it on T.I.'s forthcoming album, which then was titled King Uncaged. But since the change to No Mercy and his law troubles, T.I. opted to only include "Pledge Allegiance" as a bonus track* on the iTunes version of the album. The track was a bit aggravating at first, especially the absurd use of "swag." But "Pledge Allegiance" sounds a hell of a lot better than most of the singles heard from No Mercy. It's actually got a nice video, too, even if nothing really happens. It's rare that we see Rick Ross looking that enthusiastic as he spits a verse, though.
