Here's the first track to leak off the upcoming T.I. album Paper Trail. The track is produced by Danja. T.I. had announced a new song would be released today (April 29, 2008) and had this to say "I already know the demand is great, the anticipation is very high, and the wait is almost over man. I promise you something special and I will deliver."

 

Did he deliver something special and deliver?

Hhhmm. Maybe it'll wear on me. Good lyrics, I'm not to sure about the beat though. Similar style of guitar riff that was brought in on TI vs. TIP's single "Big Sh*t Poppin". I dunno if he'll ever be able to top "King". Maybe its the TI vs. TIP "identity crisis" but he needs to go back to the big beats and lyrical swagger that made him big.

The beat wasn't what I expected from Danja.

This song is hot. T.I. really took the opportunity to change his life around and put something out that is real.

This beat almost reminds me of something that you would find on the new Gnarls Barkley album. It's OK, I guess...

Definitely redeems himself greatly from that abysmal "TI vs. TIP" album but...

...he really needs to get his feet back on solid ground before he falls into obscurity like Busta Rhymes, Prodigy and others.
