I thought for sure that the Numa Numa guy would be featured in the video for T.I.’s “Live Your Life” considering he sampled the song that the Numa guy made famous. But apparently the Numa dude’s fame is all dried up—he is nowhere to be found on this rather serious clip detailing T.I. getting knocked down after being on top. It’s vaguely autobiographical, but not directly (at least I don’t think T.I. has ever been beaten and left in a drainage ditch), and the device it uses (essentially running backwards, sorta like Memento), isn’t really seen in music videos much since MTV bailed on them.
