T.I. teams up with another popular singer with, uh, (pulls shirt collar) legal problems, Chris Brown, who sings the hook on "Get Back Up" a song about being only human, which I guess is supposed to make us feel bad for T.I. for having drug and gun problems and for Chris Brown for having a punching women in the face problem. I don't feel bad for either of them because this song is straight mainline treacle that is probably going to be all over radio. T.I. takes a page out of the Lil Wayne playbook with the video here, as he shot this before turning himself in to do time on a parole violation. This is shot in front of a green screen, but it's of way better quality than those 400 Lil Wayne videos that he shot before getting locked up.
T.I.'s No Mercy is due out on Dec. 7.
this is gonna be my least favorite song off "No Mercy" i hope
I just can't see the song title and not think of Chris Brown standing over some chick singing the hook. Bad, right?
this song is best....you did T.I
