The performance of "Dead And Gone" by T.I. and Justin Timberlake on the Grammys couldn't have come at a better time--the song is T.I.'s new single, and now it has a ponderous video where Timberlake plays piano on a dusty road, and T.I.'s words about not wanting to go to jail or die are augmented with images of (what else?) cemeteries and prisons. There's also a part where Timberlake and T.I. confuse "north" with "up."
I'm sure this song will hit number one soon, since pretty much every song on T.I.'s Paper Trail has done the same, and they didn't have Timberlake on them. [NahRight]
