We at Prefix wish Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore the best as he reaches the half-century mark (oy). I was going to post a video of him rocking out, but decided instead to post my favorite interview with the man, as he discusses his early Sonic Youth days and the hilarious beginnings of his longstanding relationship with Mike Watt. "We kind of met on these two planes: seafood and punk" may be my favorite line in a rock doc ever.
